Much like when Michael Flatley left Riverdance to create Lord of the Dance,Scott Doherty is ready to use his extensive knowledge and background in the performing arts to add 'Producer' to his resume. With the help of co-creator and veteran rock-n-roll musician, Chris Smith, the two set out to design a top-notch production based on best practices and lessons they've learned over their combined careers. Soon they enlisted the help of fellow friends and colleagues to create a star-studded crew stacked with impressive credentials, including:

Irish Dancing Magazine

“Rockin’ Road to Dublin is that all-important one-two punch of style and mastery… the cast exudes a fabulous mix of charisma and personality. However, the fun vibe is solidly backed by the highly original choreography and technical mastery of every performer onstage; world-class, although this crew is making it all look easy. Scott and Chris have made some magic here.”

Michael Flatley, Lord of the Dance

In 2010, after Scott Doherty & cast-mate Michael McHugh won World Titles in Irish dance.

“We are so happy for Scott and Michael. Their dedication to Irish dance and exceptional abilities are just some of the reasons they are part of the Lord of the Dance team. I was just ecstatic to see them both crowned as world champions and we are very fortunate to have them as part of our cast. Each one is a superstar.”

Five years later (2015)

"It's a pretty great day when Michael Flatley asks you how your new show is going and encourages you saying "It's so great to see new innovative shows being created." That. Just. Happened."

They did not disappoint. They were super fun and the audience was really into it. They were great to work with and everyone was really happy with the show. We'd recommend them to others and would like to have them back in the future.

I just want to tell you again what a great time we had last night. It was a fantastic show! Thinking bask over all the concert/performance shows I've seen I think this was my favorite. It was perfectly orchestrated. Every time I started to think it was getting a bit loud they worked in something softer and sweeter. The creators certainly must have had a clear vision. If we had seen that performance anywhere on any stage we would have been equally impressed.
